About Kukikan
The heart of Kukikan training is the practice of the balanced path. The balanced path is the practice which must include the three parameters, i.e. mind, breath, body.
- Body training which must include three essentials, i.e. strength, endurance, flexibility.
- Breath awareness will have three phases, i.e. in-breath, pause, out-breath.
- Mind training which must have three parameters, i.e. morality, concentration, wisdom.
These three interdependent and interchanging parameters are represented by the three rings in the Kukikan symbol.
In a nutshell Kukikan “Trains the Body as a tool to train the Mind”
Kukikan cannot be put into a framework, because it is a process depending on inter-dependent conditionality. The three circles are symbolic; they represent the interdependent and interchanging nature of any individual being. They represent the simplest simplification of any training. Therefore it is very essential for the individual to experience Kukikan. It is not easy to compartmentalize Kukikan and say it is about health or it is about spirituality or about anything, or nothing. But at the same time it is about everything. Words fail to explain Kukikan because it is the experience. Kukikan is in the now. Kukikan only uses skillful means to come to the experience.
Welcome to Kukikan. In this century, we are surrounded by a plethora of information. This information is a boon for all those who use this information wisely. There is also a flip side to this easily available information. Somewhere on the path towards progress based on the information, there are many possibilities of going off the path. Especially if the path and the journey are towards one’s own health and well-being, one cannot afford to take chances. Also, one cannot afford to waste time.
