- Sensei quotes
Sensei discovered the key to the entire path of spiritual practices available in the world today. He realized the simplest simplification where all confusions and compartmentalization stops. This is a great gift for a lay person, who seeks simple guidelines to be healthy, happy and peaceful. Sensei Kuki’s discovery is symbolically represented in the three circles, which he calls ‘Kukikan’.
“Any spiritual path that includes all the three dimensions which is represented by the three circles, that is the complete training for any human being in the world. One can give it any name. If one of the factor is missing then that path is an incomplete path, not leading to Health Happiness and Peace”, says Sensei Kuki.

Besides Sensei Aashish Kuki’s contribution to the world of martial arts, he has more than 32 years of experience in the field of weight training, yogasanas and other bodyworks. One of the first to combine the wonders of both martial arts, weight training and meditation. Sensei has been the guiding light and has helped health seekers reach out beyond the impermanence of physical glamour. His ever inspiring journey has touched and given direction to the lives of over thousands of students. Today Sensei Kuki teaches students at his studio in pune. He conducts the Silent Health Retreats where he imparts the science of Kukian. Sensei also conducts the Silent Trails, which is a introduction to Kukikan training. Following is his journey in a nutshell.
Sensei Aashish has had his formative years in Bombay. He graduated from the Bombay University with majors in psychology. Along with his formal education he started his karate training in his early teens, under the father of karate in India, Sensei Pervez Mistry. The hours (some days 6-8 hrs/day) of rigorous and gruelling training set the foundation for his growth as well as understanding of martial arts. Since martial art training also involves weight training, his tryst with it startes way back in 1980. To study the finer aspects of karate he went to japan and was formally trained by Hanshi Masayuki Hisataka, the grandmaster of the Shorinji-ryu Kenkokan karate. Shorinji in Japanese means shaolin. The roots of the art were in the practice done by the monks of the shaolin temple. He further studied and trained in Australia where he also won the World Koshiki Karate Championship titles.
He experimented with various meditation techniques from different traditions. Practicing Vipassana meditation under the tradition of Acharya S.N. Goenkaji since 1998, gave him deeper insights within his own mind-body. On the journey Sensei came in contact with a highly developed forest monk Bhante Dhammadipa. Bhante is a monk since almost 35 years practicing in the forest of Burma, Sri Lanka, and now travels the wordl over. Sensei practiced under him the higher teachings of the Buddha, the Abhidhamma and also learned the subtler aspects of meditation. His meetings with some of the higly respected lamas in Bhutan and Rinpoche’s in Nepal gave him some deep insights into the centuries of spiritual practice.
To cut the long story short in Sensei’s own words, “Learning from some of the best teachers in the world is a blessing. They guided me and taught me ‘The Way of the Warrior’. My body is my greatest teacher. Every moment I learn from my body and one must learn to listen to the body. To be healthy, happy and peaceful one has to train the body and use it as a tool to train the mind. I realized that the final home coming is only with ‘The Search Within’.”

Flowing water does not flow back. So it is with life, Make it happy. Be healthy.
To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.
There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.
Spirituality is the antidote for materialism and vice versa. If one exceeds the other the imbalance creates chaos, stress, & suffering.
There are no shortcuts to good health, but there are simple ways to good health. Effort is needed.
The body is designed for hard work, so it becomes necessary to use the body in various ways to its optimum potential....to remain healthy.
One cannot “DO” meditation or yoga…one just needs to create the conditions for one to experience meditation or yoga.
Most people sacrifice their health to make money. Then they sacrifice their money to recuperate their health. This amazes me about mankind.
Problems are a state of mind. A mind with clarity has clear perception. One needs to train the mind and ALL problems cease.
In the spiritual bazaar, enlightenment is sold more cheaper than the price of onions in India today...more like a carrot...one pursues.WOW!
Taking responsibility of one's own actions/life is the basis from where one realises that there is NO external entity who rules your life...
