Man - A Prisoner of Machine

Man has become a prisoner of the machine, which was supposed to liberate him. Living conditions of most people have improved tremendously; but new evils have arisen. Obesity, heart & nervous disorders along with high levels of stress caused by the frantic pace of modern living plague our society.

In the last 100 years, we have lost much of our exercise motivation and nutrition sense to technology. You no longer walk to the market to buy fresh fruits and vegetables because it is convenient to hop in the car or on the bike and buy processed foods, grocery or vegetables at the "one stop shop".

You need to remember that your body is designed to move. The body is designed to do hard manual work. You must now seek out exercise. In our day & age, the progress of science has not fully contributed to the advancement of mankind. Our technological society has failed to free the individual to fully realize himself, to be healthy, to be aware.

Man now desperately needs to "Unwind" by some natural means, to acquire a peaceful & relaxed mind, and healthy body. A complete health program fulfills all of these needs simultaneously.

Exercise is no longer about being fit, losing or gaining weight. It's about being happy, confident and healthy. In addition to losing weight, there are many other benefits from exercise: for example,

Exercise gives you more energy.

Exercise increases your stamina and strength.

Exercise improves your heart and lung efficiency.

Exercise gives your body greater resistance to disease, stress, anxiety and fatigue.

If you are committed to health, exercise must become a part of your life - a habit as regular as your daily shower. This is the most important factor in the success of an exercise program. Here are some ways that people have successfully made exercise a part of their lives:

Log everything you do for a week (you can even make mental notes). Find the spots where you can fit in exercise. Make an appointment with yourself to exercise, and treat it as importantly as any other appointment you have. Make exercise a part of your routine.

Develop relationships with supportive people. Join a martial arts class or go to the gym with friends. If you skip a class, you will have your friends to motivate you or vice versa. Once you are self-motivated you are on your own. Then you can motivate others.
