Wisdom or Pragya the 3rd circle

Mind training should not stop here. In fact it should lead to the next stage of mind training where wisdom arises. The sharper the mind, the more its ability to penetrate and observe reality at deeper levels of the conditioned patterns. Reality is always experienced in the present moment. Nobody can experience reality in the past or the future. Wisdom is the experiential understanding of the reality which is ever-changing. It is only with wisdom that one realizes that reality is impermanent. This is the nature of the eternal law.

Awareness is the beginning of meditation, but it is the application of the awareness and mindfulness that will give rise to wisdom. Wisdom will give the realization that because the reality is impermanent it is foolish to cling to it and be attached to it. Clinging and attachment to such an ever-changing reality is nothing but unsatisfactoriness or misery. The subtlest realization of wisdom will follow that all realities are essenceless. These three interdependent experiences (impermanence, unsatisfactoriness and essencelessness) of the reality within the framework of one’s own body is true wisdom. There are various methods and subjects of meditation. In the final analysis, if the practice and experience comes to the above-mentioned milestones on the map you are on the right path.
